Meet the team
Phillip Cutcliffe
Managing Director
Phil Cutcliffe had a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship working on commercial, industrial and domestic projects.
Once qualified, he moved into Electrical Maintenance, in a chemical manufacturing facility, where he became involved in Hazardous Area electrics and instrumentation. He was then promoted at various times until finally he became an Electrical Supervisor with responsibility for all the site electrical maintenance and various major site electrical projects, with a team of 11 electricians.
Due to corporate changes in the company, the Electrical Department was dissolved, and he decided to move on and joined Rion Designs in 1992, initially, to install and commission control panels manufactured by Rion, then moved on to Control Panel Design and was asked to become a Director, which he did in 1996.
He helped the Company to move into new industries establishing a good name for quality products and services.
Then in 2005 he became Managing Director and took responsibility for the day to day running of the company. Since then, he has kept the company moving forward both in its technical abilities and consolidation of its client base.
